How to choose the right size of barefoot shoes?
When choosing barefoot shoes, it is important to choose not only the right size but also the shape of the shoe, according to the shape of your foot. When choosing barefoot shoes, it is important to choose not only the right size but also the shape of the shoe, according to the shape of your foot.
1. HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SHAPE
If you have a wider foot, you will choose a wider shoe, for this you will choose a correctly shaped toe.
2. HOW TO CORRECTLY MEASURE YOUR FOOT
First, you need to measure your foot correctly. Stand with your heel against a wall and measure the correct length from the wall to your longest toe. Always measure the foot in a standing position so that it spreads naturally with your weight.
We add the required oversize to the length (normally 8-12mm), but the oversize for the width is not specified. It applies that the shoe must not be smaller or tight.
We recommend measuring both feet as each foot may be a different size.
If there is a significant size difference, we recommend ordering a different shoe size for the right and another for the left.If it is possible to arrange such an order with us, do not hesitate to write to us by email: info@aylla.cz.
3. HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SHOE SIZE
First, answer the following questions:
1. Is barefooting new to you?
2. or have you been walking in barefoot shoes for some time?
If you fall into the first group and hesitate between a smaller and a larger shoe, we recommend choosing a larger size than you are used to from your current footwear, so that the foot has the opportunity to naturally expand and grow proportionately over time. The recommended oversize size is around 1cm.
If you already walk in barefoot shoes, you know which oversize suits you. We usually recommend having at least 8 mm of space in the shoe for the size of the foot.
In our tables, you will find clean sizes without excess. For winter boots, add another 5mm to the excess, because the relevant 5mm is taken up by the fur in the shoe and to preserve its thermoregulatory abilities, it is, therefore, better that it does not fail and can heat well.

It would be best to try our shoes on, so if you have the opportunity, I recommend stopping by one of the stores that carry our brand:

If you're new to barefooting, we recommend watching YouTube videos on the correct barefoot walking style. A thin sole presupposes more conscious walking, not only so that your shoes last as long as possible, but mainly so that walking is beneficial...
