Shoe Care Guide

Aylla shoes produce both leather and textile shoes. Each material has specific properties and these need to be supported with the right care. A pair of leather shoes might last some people only a year—but with proper care, a high-quality pair of leather shoes can last many years.
Here you will find information on how to preserve the quality of your shoes so that they last as long as possible.

COATED LEATHER

Coated leather is leather that is coated with a thin layer of synthetic material. Thanks to this, the resistance of the material will increase and its service life will be extended. By applying a synthetic layer, the positive properties of the leather will be preserved, but at the same time, a longer service life of the material and easier maintenance will be achieved. It is easy to clean and if there is no mechanical abrasion, it keeps its surface smooth.

Care: First remove coarse dirt with a brush. Then wipe the shoes with a damp cloth and let them dry. The shoes are made from coated leather. Use Collonil Bamboo lotion for cleaning. It is possible to use Impregnation Spray with nanotechnology or any impregnation spray for leather for regular care and increased protection. Do not wash or dry your shoes directly near heat sources. To eliminate unpleasant odors, use a natural deodorant that will remove even the most stubborn odors and leave your shoes fresh.

It is not recommended to use oily treatments on this material. This leather is not able to absorb oily care products, on the contrary, it can create "maps" on the surface. If this happens, the leather can be degreased - using a hair dryer and a cloth or a leather cleaner (in our case, for example, Collonil Bamboo lotion).

FULL-GRAIN LEATHER

Full grain leather is an upper leather that is characterized by irregularities on the surface, thanks to which, when dyed, each part of the leather receives the color differently, creating different tonalities. This leather is therefore original on every pair of our shoes and behaves in the same way during treatment - when using oilier or watery preparations, the leather absorbs the agent and can darken unevenly. This is not considered a negative feature, on the contrary, it is its characteristic and has, for example, an effect on the removal of moisture from the shoe - it "breathes" very well. At the same time, this leather needs more frequent care, both to prevent the leather itself from drying out and to support its waterproofing qualities.

COTTON MATERIAL OEKO-TEX®

Materials:
Upper: imitation nubuck
Lining: antiallergenic lining with microfibers
Sole: 4 mm of recyclable TPR sole

IMITATION OF NUBUK - VEGAN MATERIAL

Care: First remove coarse dirt with a brush, and you can also use a nubuck eraser for smudges. Then wipe the shoes with a damp cloth and let them dry. The shoes are made of artificial fabric (Imitation nukubu), which has the purpose of imitating natural leather. Use Soft Cleaner for cleaning. When the shoes are dry, then apply Collonil Vario deep treatment - apply the spray at a distance of 20 cm. For routine care and increased protection, it is possible to use Collonil Impregnation Spray with nanotechnology. Do not wash or dry your shoes directly near heat sources. To eliminate unpleasant odors, use a natural deodorant that will remove even the most stubborn odors and leave your shoes fresh.

 BALLERINA - Chocolate, Azure, Moss green, Caramel, Carmen, Forget me not, Powder, Mousy Grey

Lining: antiallergenic lining with microfibers
Sole: 4 mm rubber sole

BRUSHED LEATHER - VELOR

Care: First remove coarse dirt with a brush, and you can also use a nubuck eraser for smudges. Then wipe the shoes with a damp cloth and let them dry. The shoes are made of brushed leather - Velour. Velor is leather that is sanded from the reverse side of the grain and its surface is lightly hairy. This material should NEVER be creamed and dry cleaned with a brush.Use Soft Cleaner for cleaning. When the shoes are dry, then apply Collonil Vario deep treatment - apply the spray at a distance of 20 cm. For routine care and increased protection, it is possible to use Collonil Impregnation Spray with nanotechnology. Do not wash or dry your shoes directly near heat sources.
